Our Client is a reputable advocate for the designation of consultants and is dedicated to advancing the profession and delivering the benefits of these efforts to the client community. They are seeking an experienced Senior Membership Service Specialist to support the company in providing outstanding client support to its members and act as the face of the organization to new potential members and existing ones. Our client has embarked on a remarkable journey over the past 18 months. Using Covid to re-evaluate, our client has re-established their processes and vision from 1996 and modernized it to 2022.

As the Senior Member Service Specialist, your role will be to wear a proactive cap and see through a forward-thinking lens when it comes to membership management. Working within a small team, your role will be to act as the main channel of communication between the internal organization and external members. You will report into the Executive Director and potentially supervise one staff. Working fully remotely, this role is integral to the continuous value add proposition from the organization to their members. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership for membership maintenance and growth. The organization has created new programs and is looking for someone to help drive and communicate those initiatives to their community. As a Senior Member Services Specialist, you will act as the main point of contact, inform members of upcoming events and coordinate them. As you will be in constant communication with this NGO’s community, your will be in tune with the most up to date needs for the association members and liaise with the leadership team with ongoing ways to continue to grow through membership.

The Ideal Candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience working within a similar role within another association or membership driven entity. You will be able to demonstrate how you will work to help the team elevate members and how you will bring a unique perspective to membership growth and retention. Your exceptional client service approach to communications and your initiative in a small office will be essential. This role is part of a small team where everyone chips in and nothing is beyond anyone in the group. We are looking for someone who is NOT the quiet quitter, and will look at this role as something they want to take ownership of. Their pride in professional service and development will be evident. We are seeking someone who wants to have an impact and sees their role as something they can continue define within the parameters of requirements. Communication in English & French would be an asset and excellent organizational skills and engagement is necessary. While this role is a fully remote opportunity, you MUST be within Ottawa or Toronto and meet the required experience within a similar role for another association to be considered.
