The candidate would be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting, budgets, variance analysis and payroll activities. The Controller will work and report directly to the Director of Finance. If you are looking to be challenged in a fast-paced, well known idustry, then this is the role for you.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:  

Prepare covenant and compliance documents Ensure the Company is within its covenant and borrowing restrictions Perform monthly close process by preparing reconciliations, working papers and preparing and posting journal entries Provides financial analysis of operations and apprising stakeholders of key operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, cash flow and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly cash-flow forecasts to ensure adequate cash flow Annual budget preparation for  Variance analysis and reporting, with a focus on revenues Supports the implementation and maintenance financial reporting, maintain accounting controls  Assist with the annual financial statement audit, including preparation and review of audit working papers, and coordination with external auditors and tax accountants Supervise, coach and mentor the team; maintain positive interpersonal relationships while ensuring that recommendations are aligned with the goals of the organization  Prepare and perform ongoing hoc analysis and reports based on the needs of the organization
Your strengths include:
An accounting designation (CPA)  5+ years of experience in a similar position  Strong knowledge of finance and accounting concepts, banking, compliance. reporting and treasury A demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at once  Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)  Working well under pressure
