Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with discretionary high net worth clients and small institutional clients through exceptional service and strong communication that ensures customer retention and leads to customer advocacy.
Continually elevate the CWB Wealth client experience through collaboration and input into Client Service Delivery Model and processes to execute consistently.
Partner with our in-house financial planners, outside experts (legal, accounting, tax) and the clients’ advisors to provide clients with specialized services for tax, estate, and succession planning.
Construct and adjust client Investment Policy as necessary to deliver client investment solutions to align with their specific objectives, time horizon, tax considerations, and risk tolerance.
Provide ongoing, regular, and clear advice and communication regarding client solutions as well as the firm’s investment strategies and outlook.
Actively promote the CWB Wealth brand and investment beliefs regarding long term investment and commitment to quality companies.
Achieve individual annual goals and objectives and proactively contribute to CWB Wealth Management business goals through client referrals, CWB Group referrals, networking, and other prospecting. Actively use defined goals and objectives as guideline to monitor success and identify challenges.
Conduct all business in professional and ethical manner with integrity and commitment to fiduciary duty. Adhere to regulatory requirements such as “know your client” (KYC) and CWB Wealth specific policies and procedures.
Proactively build solid working relationships with the entire CWB FG including Wealth Management affiliate companies.

Core knowledge requirements
CFA or CIM Designation, CFP an asset.
Relevant work experience for registration as Portfolio Manager with Alberta Securities Commission.
Confident and deep understanding of capital markets, risk, and wealth management products.
Expert knowledge in tax, estate, and succession planning.
8 years investment industry experience.
5 years portfolio management experience.
Proven experience in business development specific to networking, relationship building and client acquisition.
Proven track record of building wealth management relationships with clients, meeting objectives while aligning risk tolerance.
