The Community Care Branch, Ministry of Health, requires a creative, innovative and resourceful individual with exceptional leadership and facilitation skills to join our team as a Program Consultant. Based in Regina, you will provide mental health and addiction program leadership and support to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the Ministry of Health, other government ministries and community partners. Program expertise working with community mental health and addiction services, as well as inpatient mental health and addiction services would be an asset as the successful candidate will play a leadership role in supporting policy and program initiatives in these areas.
Our candidate of choice will have knowledge of current and emerging issues, mental health and addiction programs and social research methodology in order to monitor and evaluate programs and services. You will bring experience leading and managing project teams providing expert alcohol and drug clinical and program advice, as well as monitoring and evaluating services, analyzing trends and issues to identify and develop options and solutions in order to make policy and program recommendations.
Typically, you will have gained the knowledge and abilities required for this position through a graduate degree in social sciences or equivalent with social policy emphasis.
Some travel will be required.
