Are you a smooth-talking, practiced instructor with the ability to engage your audience, while communicating your message? Do you have a firm understanding of Indigenous communities, issues, values, and traditions? If so, then our client wants to hear from you.
This exciting position is responsible for the facilitation of workshop material already developed, and for new curriculum development and design. The successful candidate will also be required to act as a chairperson in meetings, and on occasion as a spokesperson when the need arises. Our ideal candidate is organized, well-written, detail orientated and has experience in preparing presentation materials and speaking to groups.

You’ve completed your University degree in Social Sciences, Education, or relevant field.
You MUST have 3-5 years of facilitation or instructional training experience.
As a training guru, you engage participants in presentations using a variety of delivery methods.
While the word public speaking makes some people squirm, you, on the other hand, are excited to take charge and speak to a room of people.
You are confident in using OfficeSuite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
You can collaborate with internal teams on Program Support, and Research and Policy training.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are your forte.
You are both well written and have superior verbal English skills.
Travelling approximately 4 days a month is no problem for you.
You have a Driver's Licence.
If you have experience working in or with the Indigenous community, we’d love to hear about it, as this is a MUST for the role.
Oh yeah, of course, you must also be legally able to work in Canada and able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
