What you will beresponsible for

As Financial Reporting SeniorManager you will

  • Deliver the highest quality ofclient Plans, schedules, and manages the daily workflow of clientrelationships. Maintains strong client relationships. Evaluates and recommendsprocess improvements, resulting in better client service and cost reduction.
  • Plans, schedules, and manages thedaily workflow of one or more client relationships.
  • Ensures timely and accurateproduction of financial statements and related regulatory filings, asapplicable, for each client.
  • Plays an active role in managingthe relationships with clients and State Street coworkers.
  • Sets clear clientexpectations.
  • Oversees the effectivecoordination of activities with other departments.
  • Ensures all personnel areappropriately selected, thoroughly trained and given timely and completeperformance evaluation feedback.
  • Ensures all controls andprocedures are adhered to as well as recommends for changes.
  • Facilitates the successfulstart-up of new funds and conversion of new clients. Ensures thorough andproper planning.
  • Ensures effective use ofreporting system and makes recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Remains informed of regulatoryand reporting requirement changes and new industry and competitor developments.
  • Evaluates staffing needs whilecontinually striving for greater efficiencies.
  • Develop internal training classeswith the training liaison.
  • Completes other special projectsor tasks assigned.
  • Plays a key role in staffmanagement.

  • Education & PreferredQualifications

  • Must have a minimum Universitydegree in a related field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,etc.)
  • 6 plus years’ experience,Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years supervisoryexperience required.
  • Strong organizational andinterpersonal skills necessary.
  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA,CGA, CMA) a plus.
